Responding to emerging requests for further developing and integrating Participatory Peace Education initiatives in our Indonesia Project (IP), PBI is looking for individuals with relevant experience in peace-building activities preferably at a community level. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in providing both strategic and practical support for the IP. If you are committed to PBI's working principles, you are adaptable and have the strong interpersonal skills necessary to work within a multicultural team and dynamic environment; we are inviting you to apply to be a Peace Education volunteer: Note: We are particularly looking for non-Indonesian nationals at this time. 18-month postings for candidates over 25 years oldIDR 1,150,000/month stipend + food, lodging and repatriation benefits on completion. Joining our field teams, Participatory Peace Education volunteers will work in collaboration with the Peace Education Coordinator/s and other IP Sub-Committees to explore opportunities for and initiate/support community-based Peace Building activities. The Peace Education volunteer will recognize the strengths and knowledge in local communities and work with local organizations and partners who will be closely involved in the planning and implementation of any peace-building activity.
